Coocoo for CocoKind

By Lauren Jacoby

CocoKind skincare is an all-natural skincare company ran and manufactured in San Francisco, CA. Not only do they only use natural ingredients, but they are also 100% women owned. They are a company that has incredible values and they produce products with incredible results. Over the past few months I have tried out a handful of their products and I am here to share my favorites with you. As a disclaimer, I have very dry and acne prone skin.

MyMatcha Organic Moisture Stick

Out of all of the products that they carry, this is by far my favorite. I have literally convinced everyone I know that they need one. This is a multi-purpose stick that uses Matcha to reduce puffiness and dark circles under your eyes. The oils that are in it also make it like a giant chapstick that you can rub anywhere on your body for extra moisture. I have not tried using the stick on other parts of my body because I tend to break out with coconut oil. This product really does work and has replaced my other eye creams. The best part is, it’s only $9.

Organic Chlorophyll Mask

The main ingredient in this mask is chlorophyll. This is fantastic because chlorophyll is antioxidant rich and helps to purify your skin. I use it most when I have flare ups on my face, and it is gentle enough to use every single day. This mask is in a powder form and will literally last you months. What is also great is that you don't have to worry about it drying out because of it being a powder.

Sea Moss Exfoliator

The sea moss exfoliator is meant to bring out your skin's natural glow through exfoliation. As someone with extremely sensitive skin, the sea moss exfoliator is gentle enough to exfoliate my skin without making my acne worse. You can use it in your normal face wash, or even just mix it with some water. It is definitely one of my skin-care staples. It really helps with texture on my skin without irritating the rest of my breakouts.

Rosewater Facial Toner

The purpose of this toner is to balance out the PH levels in your skin. It also claims to leave your skin feeling more hydrated. I personally use the rose water toner as a mist to freshen up my face throughout the day. It feels very refreshing and hydrating on the face. It’s also great because it’s made with real roses so it does not have an artificial rose scent.

CocoKind pride themselves on being clean, conscious and accessible skincare that empowers women. Supporting brands like this one are better for your skin and the planet!
