10 Top Minimalist Sustainable Influencers

by Elsa Johnson

Whether it's wearing secondhand or sustainable clothing these Insta influencers know how to dress minimalistic and eco friendly! We have rounded up some of our favorite influencers and bloggers that style themselves for the environment while also keeping a low key chic look, because sometimes it’s not about looking the most.

Take a look at the list and their muted yet stand out style. If you have any additions to the list add them in the comments, we are always looking for more eco fashionistas to support!

Based in Baltimore, Jess posts fantastic mirror selfies every other day. She mostly styles in denim, white and beige, with an element of French chic as one of her favorite ethical brands to support is @sezane. We are obsessed with her woven bags.

We love Deborah’s candor on her Instagram, and her sustainable minimalist style. She does a fantastic job mixing prints and sometimes bold colors into her wardrobe, a pop of color, without changing her low key style with a fantastic silhouette in @warpweftworld. Recently she has been showing us how to style eco friendly in maternity wear and we are here for that challenge!

First off, we also want a cat carer/carriage like Cat uses to walk her cats around San Fran! We also love her use of colour in her mindful minimalist style. She still uses pink and red in her wardrobe but paired down with little accessories she still rocks the minimalist look! She wears a lot of locally made brands like @firstriteclothing and @tradlands.

LauraBaross

Talk about European chic with a New York attitude. Laura Baross has an amazing eye as she creates stunning content for her account, and her company @designwcare. She wears muted colors like white, greys and green, in business casual @reformation. She has a way to style her button downs that gives her minimalistic style a twist.

AditiMayer

Aditi’s energy pops from her photos and we love that it’s not just sustainability but spreading awareness of the injustice of the fashion supply chain and supporting decolonization. She wears blocks of colors with clean lines, that keeps her style minimalist. She wears indie labels based in California, like @parenpar, @marchetti.sustainable, and @agaati.california.

Besmacc

Besma not only runs the platform Ethical Influencer, she is one! Keeping her style mostly monotone, even her athleisure wear is black and white! But the pieces she wears are still one of a kind and shows her personality! She wears a lot of second hand and independent labels, like @boyishjeans and @thenudeethics.

KissenundKarma

More sepia tones than monotone, Corinna’s style makes us feel cosy and chic! Wearing almost no new clothes her style is fresh, with help from her tees from @armedangels. We love the look of the negligee, the cosy sweater and jeans, its sexy, chic, and comfortable.

Candice is inspiring us with her 5x5 lounge capsule collection, and we love her comfy casual style featuring solid colors and minimal jewelry accents. We love the simple addition of white @veja sneakers to keep her outfits minimal and functional.

Pretty much only wearing thrifted clothing Jenna is a slow fashion stylist based in Melbourne, and we think she makes second hand looks brand new with @vinniesvictoria! Love her use of linens, denim on denim and boiler suits in her style.
